Our History

In 1895, Young Insulation was founded. It operated in several areas, including the Mid-South. Upon exiting the market, Wayne Austin, who worked at the company for more than 30 years, purchased all of the business’ assets in 2007. It was then rebranded as Austin Insulation. We continue to provide excellent services to numerous industrial and commercial clients.

What Makes Us Different

We believe that our word is our bond. When we say that we will perform a task, we make sure to complete it. We employ a team of capable workers, from front office employees to mechanics who work in the field. Austin Insulation is also a union company that is affiliated with Local 90 of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers.

To maintain superior craftsmanship among our mechanics, they are all required to complete four years of apprenticeship school. We are confident in our employees’ abilities and issue a minimum of one-year warranty for any work we perform.

Safety is our #1 priority, which is why our employees are trained to protect others in various situations and accidents. In addition to the training that our company provides, all our workers undergo several safety training sessions given by power, chemical, and food processing plants.
